Circuitry discovery could lead to beefier memory
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) —A scientists have speculated that normal electrical circuits have a natural ability to remember things even when the power is powered off. they could not that yet before.
The researchers at Hewlett-Packard Co-operation . discovered them right, with this discovery they hope will lead to memory chips that store more data but consume far less power than those found in today’s personal computers and other digital devices.
The new found circuits ” memristor”. can enable cell phones that work weeks or longer without a charging, PCs that start up instantly, and laptops that retain your session information long after the battery dies.
It also can challenge flash memory, which now mostly used in portable electronic devices because of its ability to recall information even when power is off. Chips incorporating the HP discovery would be faster, suck up less power and take up far less space than today’s flash.
“It certainly looks fine . said “Wolfgang Porod, professor of electrical engineering at the University of (Notre Dame) and director of the university’s Center for (Nano Science and Technology) . so far it is expected that it will go 100 times better or 1,000 times better (than today’s flash).
Scientists started thinking science 1970s that along with the three well-known elements of a basic circuit — the resistor, the capacitor and the inductor — a fourth fundamental building block is possible.
so far it is an nice achievement by scientist .
2008 Ford Edge SEL AWD

features in Ford Edge SEL AWD
The latest : Sync continues to be the high level in the requirement of Ford vehicles, no less so on the 2008 Ford Edge Limited, offering excellent MP3 player and cell phone integration.
The problem: Fuel economy is not great, and the standard audio system is mediocre. The graphics on its touch-screen LCD are not so beautiful so far.
The main point : Although offering a character-less driving experience, the top-notch cabin electronics make entertainment and communications effortless in the 2008 Ford Edge Limited.
The BBC Micro Processor
The designers BBC Micro computer have revealed that how it led to the development of one of the world’s two dominant processor architectures.
According to Personal Computer World “Sophie Wilson and Steve Furber were Cambridge graduates working for a local start-up called Acorn in the early 1980s when the BBC launched its Computer Literacy Project, one of the most successful mass-education exercises ever.”
Acorn was one of seven companies that submitted designs for a machine that would provide a standard platform for a series of TV teach-ins on computing. Wilson and Furber were very efficient designers and they happened to develop a prototype in just five days and the company won the contract. The project then got a sales of around 12,000, and eventually reached 1.5 million.
Microchips in Brain

first microchip operation was held at Saint Petersburg Scientific Ear, Throat, Nose and Speech Research Institute.it was a successful operation for Russia institution .
According to Yuri Yanov Russian otolaryngologist the this chip provides an amazing hearing power then a normal person .
It is big success for Russia .
The author of the hi-tech decision is the German company Medel, a monopolist in the acoustic implantant industry. The chip is implanted under the skin near the temple; the magnet in the outer side holds an audio processor. The resonator is put in the inner ear.
but at the present this chip is very expensive for most of the people .
the Russian authorities and the manufactures of this chip are thinking to how to decrease its purchasing rate at the present
